Hi, I'm Kelli Noteman O'Brien
Founder of Sierra Brushstrokes

I've been teaching for 30 years, 12 of those exclusively in the art room.  I've also taught workshops in the Stanislaus National Forest, at children's art camps, and family gatherings.  Currently, I am one of the teaching artists at Sonora Arts, a clay, craft and fine arts studio in East Sonora.  You can also find me making art and spreading art joy in other locations, indoors and out!I have received several awards at the Mother Lode Art Association annual juried art show and my painting was featured on the poster for the Mother Lode Round Up. You might also see me performing in costume in Columbia State Park or singing with a band.  I might even be playing the banjo with a group at a dance.
